It matters if you are concerned with things related to the honey other than taste and texture of the raw product.
But it is also a good point that quality imitations of foods are pretty rare, so it could be useful as an independent class of goods.

It probably has to do with the inability/expense of the facility to be able to properly secure outside food against other more serious kinds of contraband.
Yeah… I can’t blame them, the apathy is real on this one, lots of people get murdered everyday, they don’t get this coverage, I don’t care more because this guy was a rich CEO, feels like the media is overhyping it because the rich are scared that some folks are deciding they need to water the tree of liberty. Pretty sure this is only going to get worse as people get squeezed more and more.
I’m not blanket saying assassination is ok, but I’m also not saying I couldn’t consider voting to acquit this guy for jury nullification purposes if I were on the jury.
Rube flag?
For public ones, depending on what people started getting, it’d really strain the AIs. You could go in like 1 or two ways, probably different people getting both.
Something very uniform but still unique, like a QR code kind of deal, AIs would hallucinate the crap out of that. Or abstractions, like people do to change the way the shape of their face to combat facial recognition.
For private ones, just don’t ever get it photographed, any image showing that area without it would be probably fake.
I am waiting for people to start getting both public and hidden authentication tattoos, so they can prove generative images aren’t actually them.
I’m not sure why light would matter, obviously if you’re flying you’d use wind over solar, there’s so much wind flowing around the planes it’d be a much more available and reliable source of power.

For something I’m paying for, I want no ads, recommended or otherwise.
For something I get for free, if it’s easily skippable/ignorable, I don’t really care, I’ll skip it or mute the tab or whatever. If I can’t, I’d rather have a like sniper level targeted ad (use all the data!), really try to show me something I’ll care about (there was some like 10 minutes ad about the science behing glass by one of the guys from MythBusters, I watched the whole ad, it was great). The demographic level targeted ads are my 2nd least favorite, mostly because it feels like I usually need to suffer through what is a targeted ad but if they bothered to exclude some of the audience based on some data points (looking at you luxury car ads, it’s just never going to happen), they’d know I’m a bad target, I’d rather some generic add over those. My least favorite ad though, when I get an ad in a language I don’t even understand, like at least match my primary language, wasting everyone’s time…
I think he was trying to say Biden got more votes or higher vote share in swing states than Obama did. I don’t know if that would be true or not, but that’s the closest I can figure to something that might be a cognizant thought.
That’s some wild nuclear fear mongering. Globally, there’ve been less than 10 incidents ever on the scale you’re talking about, and most of those are from the early days of the tech and the only recent one of note was due to weather patterns which wouldn’t be a thing on the moon. And you jump to what if it happens on the moon dozens of times?
If you really want a caving incident that’ll give you nightmares… Nutty Putty
The proprietary/cloud based threat bit me already. Installed smart vents in my home several years ago. They weren’t perfect, but they did really help even out my 3-bedroom, 2-story, 1-zone home. Now the app fails to login, the site doesn’t even attempt password recovery and I’m back to dumb vents… Customer support is a black hole and basically every product is and has been out of stock for years, so I’ve no hope of any happy resolution.
They apparently used to be supported by SmartThings when it allowed custom stuff, but that’s dead now too because Samsung didn’t want to allow it. I even tried to use their proprietary hub which said it could connect to them, but that shit didn’t work either.
That’s all within 100 miles of any airport that lands international flights and any coastal boundaries, regardless of distance from another country’s border.
Let’s take windmill like in the example, it has 3 blades, each maybe at most 5 degrees wide (out of the 360 for a circle). So that covers 15 total degrees or 1/24th the wind area, so at absolute best, it’s about 4% of the wind power in that area being stopped. But the blades don’t actually capture 100% of the wind power, a good amount will deflect off, those blades are not 5 degrees wide, they’re less and they aren’t straight blades, so again they capture less. Further the blade only captures a small vertical section of its own footprint, so it captures dramatically less wind power. Lastly blades are spaced with a good amount of clearance from each other leading to even less wind power captured. In aggregate, even by entirely layman measure, these likely have an immeasurable impact on another wind farm.
I’d bet if you built a mile high, mile wide wind capture device that captured 100% of wind power going to it, and then put a 2nd one 1 mile directly behind that, you could just maybe get a few % measurable impact.
