I try to avoid it myself, but that’s not always possible. How could I hold others to a higher standard than I hold myself?
What I cannot condone is lethal force by the state. I discourage it from individuals as well.
I like American music. Do you like American music? I like American music, too.

Because they’re an existential threat. You may think it’s unlikely that they come to power. But an unlikely event with terrible consequences is still worth trying to prevent.

HTML doesn’t “run”. It’s not a scripting language, it’s a markup language. All it does is mark sections of the document for the browser to display.
CSS is the rules for how to display the marked-up document. Even when CSS is not defined for a document, the default stylesheet of the browser is used. It’s not an interpreted language.

“Dead” is an adjective, modifying the antecedent of “he”, not an adverb modifying “is”.
Contrast “he is well”, where “well” modifies “is” as an adverb vs. “he is good” where “good” is an adjective modifying “he”. There’s no grammatic signifier which is which beyond the modifying word itself, so you need to see whether it’s in adverb form or adjective form.
“he died” describes an action
“he was dead” describes a condition / state / quality
“urban” means city, not town

They add up (in the sense of getting louder) if they’re harmonized or party harmonized. They cancel out if they’re opposing or partly opposing. They become more continuous but not louder if they’re out-of-synch.
Kids see you reading an e-book, they don’t know what you’re doing, they just see you staring at s phone.
